Large prism rollers (diameter 86 mm), with spring-loaded counter rollers, ensure smooth linear feed, as well as very low contact pressure and enables virtually wear-free operation of the saw carriage. The weight and forces acting on the saw carriage are evenly distributed on the two guides (50/50) and on each individual prism roller. The saw carriage runs absolutely without lubricant on the guides. The two guides are located away from the cutting line, outside the direct dust area. The diameter of the guide rods is 40 mm, making them the largest and most stable guides used in this sector. Pneumatic quick clamping system; for quick and convenient tool changes. This system is extremely reliable in operation, as it is mechanically clamped via a flange with a bayonet lock and spring force and unlocked via a pneumatic quick coupling. The flange must be rotated by approx. 10° in order to remove it. Due to excellent accessibility and the fact that the operator does not need any other tools, the tool change is very easy and can be carried out in seconds.
